AI INCOME LAB

The AI Income Starter Pack

Ten field guides. Zero cost to start. Everything in this pack is a workflow you can run this week — no hype, no income promises, just the work.

COMMENT: TOOLS

🛠 The free AI tool list

Every job below is covered by a free tier. Start at zero cost; upgrade only when revenue says so.

Rule: one tool per job. If two tools do the same thing, keep the one you already know.

COMMENT: PROMPTS

📋 10 copy-paste prompts

Fill the [brackets], paste, tweak the output. These are starting points, not magic.

1. Client email: "Write a polite 5-sentence email to [client type] offering [service]. Friendly, specific, one clear call to action."
2. Follow-up: "Write a 3-sentence follow-up email. Reference [specific detail from first email]. Polite, not pushy."
3. Proposal opener: "Rewrite this proposal opening in the client's own words. Their problem: [paste their words]. Keep it under 60 words."
4. Content ideas: "Give me 10 content ideas about [topic] for [audience]. One line each, specific, no generic advice."
5. Research summary: "Summarize [paste text] into 5 bullet points a busy beginner can act on."
6. Simplify: "Explain [concept] like I'm smart but new to it. Short paragraphs, one example."
7. Inbox triage: "Sort these emails into: reply today / reply this week / archive. [paste list]"
8. SOP draft: "Turn these rough steps into a clean standard operating procedure with headings: [paste steps]"
9. Price anchor: "Help me write 3 pricing tiers for [service]: starter, standard, premium. One line each on what's included."
10. Weekly review: "Turn these notes into: 3 wins, 3 priorities for next week, 1 thing to drop. [paste notes]"
COMMENT: NICHE

🎯 The one-page niche picker

Don't sell everything. Answer these three questions — where all three overlap is your niche.

1. Who already pays for help?

Examples: local dentists, realtors, coaches, Etsy sellers, restaurants. Pick people with revenue.

2. What painful, repeatable problem do they have?

Good: "no time to reply to reviews," "inbox chaos," "no content posted in months." Bad: vague "need marketing."

3. Where do 50 of them gather?

A Facebook group, a local association, a subreddit. If you can't name the gathering place, the niche is too broad.

Worksheet: write one sentence — "I help [who] with [painful problem], found at [gathering place]." If the sentence feels concrete, you have a niche.

COMMENT: PLAN

📅 The 7-day starter plan (1 hour/day)

  1. Day 1 — Pick. Finish the niche worksheet above. One sentence.
  2. Day 2 — Learn. Pick ONE free tool from the TOOLS list. Do its official 20-minute tutorial.
  3. Day 3 — Build sample 1. Make a sample for an imaginary client in your niche (30–45 min of real work).
  4. Day 4 — Build samples 2 & 3. Two more, different angles. You now have a 3-piece portfolio.
  5. Day 5 — Post. Post your best sample publicly (Instagram, LinkedIn, wherever your niche gathers). Say what it is and who it's for.
  6. Day 6 — Message 10. Use the SCRIPTS below. Ten polite messages to real prospects in your niche.
  7. Day 7 — Review. What got replies? Double down on that next week. Archive the rest.
COMMENT: STACK

🏗 The one-person business setup

Every function of a tiny service business, covered free:

Upgrade rule: never pay for a tool until a paying client makes it necessary.

COMMENT: SCRIPTS

💬 3 first-client DM scripts

Polite. Short. Human. Personalize the [brackets] every time — never mass-blast.

The intro: "Hi [name] — I help [niche] with [specific problem]. I made a quick sample of what that looks like for a business like yours — want me to send it? No pitch, just the sample."
The follow-up (3 days later): "Quick bump on my note from [day] — still happy to send that sample if useful. Either way, hope [something specific about their business] is going well."
The closer (after they say yes): "Great — here's how I'd do it: [3-step plan, one line each]. I'd charge [price] for the first one so you can see the quality before committing to more. Want to start [day]?"

Ten of these a day, personalized, beats a hundred generic blasts.

🗂 Client onboarding template

Welcome message (send within 24h of yes)

"You're in — here's what happens next: 1) quick intake form (5 min), 2) 20-min kickoff call, 3) I start [day] and deliver [first deliverable] by [date]. Anything you need from me before we start?"

Intake form (5 questions)

  1. What does success look like for this project, in one sentence?
  2. Who is this for (your customer)?
  3. Anything you've tried before? What happened?
  4. Must-haves vs. nice-to-haves?
  5. Best way + time to reach you?

Kickoff call agenda (20 min)

5 min: their goals in their words · 10 min: walk through your 3-step plan · 5 min: dates, deliverables, how you'll communicate. End with the next date on the calendar.

COMMENT: PRICING

💲 How to price your first offers

No income claims anywhere in your marketing — sell the work and the outcome, never the earnings.

COMMENT: PORTFOLIO

🖼 3 sample projects (no clients needed)

Label every sample "sample project" — never imply it was paid client work.

  1. The makeover. Take a real business's weak asset (a dull Instagram bio, a confusing flyer) and redo it. Before/after, one page.
  2. The starter kit. Build the thing your niche always needs first (a content calendar template, an email welcome sequence, a pricing one-pager). Give the structure away; sell the customization.
  3. The teardown. Record or write a 5-minute audit of a business in your niche: 3 things they're doing right, 3 fixes. This doubles as your outreach asset.

Three labeled samples beat zero clients every time. Post them where your niche gathers.
